Classification of National Musical Instruments

A presentation of various national musical instruments, their classification, and the popularity of each type across different cultures. In some cases, instruments remain in wide use within the nation but in others, their importance is primarily symbolic. Each instrument is also classified by the Hornbostel-Sachs system in which they're categorized based on the sound they produce.
